Eureka Seven AO 03 – notes and the like

My only question is that if all three IFO’s of the Pied Piper (Alleluia, Kyrie and Nirvash) fly above him running, then who’s piloting the Nirvash?

You’re in junior high? You must be a real adult.

She’s a true otaku.

A true child of the… the… whichever century they are in.

You feel they are evil, retarded fucks? Then look at how you think and re-evaluate yourself.

His puns are really bad. I wish he wasn’t on the show. (He uses the expression for “make something out of multiple previous things” (二個一 nikoichi) then changes the “two” in it to “three”. Someone shoot him.)

“Specialize in exterminating G-Monsters”. Ghostbusters is fitting.

The awamori he mentions is the traditional Okinawan booze. It’s most definitely not jasmine tea.

Let’s just focus on the sign on the wall: it’s the idiom equal to “reed before the wind lives on, while mighty oaks do fall”.

I really don’t like it when they reference stuff that haven’t showed up yet, but at least Quartz was kinda easy to figure out. (Also I laughed at the Alleluia parked in the police’s lot among normal cars.)

Doesn’t it make you rage?

It’s an economic bubble. It’s funny that he’s saying this because people usually don’t know that economic prosperity is just a bubble before it bursts.

Isn’t that word a word more than necessary?

The licence plate gives it away. Taketomi district is really close to Taiwan.

Georg is one cheeky computer.

Actually it’s ZOA, but the Z stands for Zone and it’s not explained until the next episode, so it totally sounded like “zone”.

“Be careful to always stay outside the zones.” Again, a mistake due to the complete lack of context.

If the show didn’t have Fleur in it, the previews would be the most difficult part.
