Jormungand 04 – notes and the like

It’s been a while since episode 4, but I looked up the guns and other interesting stuff in it, so here you go.

I couldn’t find this flashback in the manga, so I have no idea where this is supposed to be. If you recognize it, tell me.

I think that’s an AK-47 with a drum magazine.

The stage is still Dubai.

The IMI Negev is an Israeli light machine gun.

The M2 Browning is an American heavy machine gun. It’s been used almost for a hundred years now.

Valhalla should be capitalized.

対ショック姿勢 (tai-shokku shisei, lit. anti-shock position).

I think he’s using a Blaser R93 Tactical 2 sniper rifle (with the .338 Lapua Magnum cartridges as Koko mentions later).

That’s a Colt M727.

Typical American. Annoying as fuck.

The way she stretches the “a” sounds at the end of her sentences is quite characteristic, but I really can’t think of a way it could be translated into written text without looking retarded.

This is so deep.

Actually all 193 countries in the UN have pledged to achieve the MDG by 2015.

I’d prefer it if this line had “contradiction” or “illogical” in it, especially since it’s referred to in the next episode. The car on screen is a Toyota Prius by the way.

I couldn’t confirm or deny her stats. If you can find any sources, please tell me.

That label looks so familiar but I just can’t remember what it is.

Remington M24 SWS (Sniper Weapon System).

Beretta M8000 reporting in.

She must have really liked Berettas. This one’s an M84.

That’s probably an FN Mk3 (it’s more obvious when the camera zooms on Jonah).

A new ending, Orchestra special.
