Translation Review: [Anime-Koi] DATE A LIVE – 02 This entry was posted by Futsuu.
If you haven’t realised it yet, those are references to Macross songs.
The second one should be “Do You Remember Brother?”
This sounds so much like “Dead or Alive” to me.
Or maybe “Dead or die”
Ahem. Moving on…
“I had him use the trump card against twenty-nine year old single women, but I guess it proved to be a tad too effective.”
“It’d be a pain if she fell for him too hard.”
This show. What am I even watching.
As an aside, I didn’t really like the use of “Me too” as Origami’s responses in this scene. Makes it sound like she’s known about herself, keeps looking at herself in class, and sniffs her own PE uniform.
“Likewise”, maybe?
“The girl who brings misfortune to her rivals in love!”
“Girls like these won’t get it unless you say it out straight.”
Tonomachi-kun.
Wat.
I don’t even…
And I read this line?
Conclusion: Good
Accuracy: 8/10; Flow: 7/10; Atmosphere: 8/10
A few derps here and there and some questionable editing choices, but nothing too bad. A solid release.
Seeing as all three got a Good from you (Anime-Koi, FFF, and Doki), which of the three would you most recommend?
I can’t give you impartial recommendations. I’m doing the show for A-Koi.
